Powerful write my friend...penned well and truth spoken from the heart. Sad but true, the same pattern seems to be happening here as well, it is constantly on the news! So sad, when I was in high school, I'll never forget three of my friends were killed in a car wreck, no drinking, just a costly mistake made by the driver. It was the first real tragedy that I recall and one of the worst for many, but it seems that it was the beginning of many to come, it's not so uncommon anymore. Great write, penned well and full of compassion for our fellowman.

Such a sad offering. The loss of a child is something so tragic and making sense of it all is so futile. Your poem touches the heart deeply. We can go through life punishing ourselves with what ifs but the what ifs are always after thoughts and serve no purpose and allow no closure.
