What measures greatness? Is it fortune or fame.

Do you measure it by volume or can you measure it in length;
Can it be measured by depth...what about width?

Are you great because of the car you drive and live in a mansion on a hill
With life full of luxury with moments of cheap thrills
Maybe you're great because of all the friends you've obtained
Or are you great because everyone knows your name?

Does greatness arise or is it driven from within
Does greatness happen suddenly or does it have an beginning and an end
Can greatness even be measured or can greatness be contained
Does greatness have a cause and or an effect or can it even be blamed

Does greatness make us stronger or does it make some weaker than the rest
Are we better when we are great or are we great because we have given our best
Does greatness have a point of escalation or does it just take us on a spin
Can greatness be considered a blessing or be driven because of sin

Is greatness an inheritance or is it deserved
Is greatness portrayed or is it observed
Does overcoming our past failures makes us great or does sharing how we overcame make us greater
Are we great because the world says so or are we great because we are satisfied now and not a moment later.

What measures greatness...not fortune, fame nor volume or length, depth or width
Definitely not the car you drive or the house you live in or any other material gifts
Greatness is within all of us and it is up to us of we can stand to be great!

Can you stand to be great?
