Sunset At The Pier

Dressed in second hand clothing, living from day to day, he strummed his guitar on a weathered pier. As the sun slipped below an azure sea, he sang lonely tunes of a love lost. A flash of a brilliant green skirt captured his eye. The scent of a half forgotten fragrance drifted heavily in the air. Glancing up, his gaze met a pair of sea blue eyes. As he played, she sang words of a love lost in time. Together, they walked hand in hand, recapturing their lost love in a blazing tropical sunset.

Wow! This is great! I just love poem that reads like a love story. Something about the strumming of the guitar has made this poem soooo romantic!

This also reminds me of my own poem "~Waves~" which is in all my sites.

Great work, Weslynn! This can be expanded into a love story.
