Poem Artwork

In cutting the diamond

from rough rock

the Tool of Experience

cracks the surface.

Memory gives it shape.

Hexagon and pentagon,

angles and slopes of light reflected,

causing double and triple vision

of the world around us.

Yet can such beauty of diamond sparkle

give the clear vision

of plain glass?

Ahhh!!! I enjoyed this a lot! Let us not be fooled by the sight through mirrors. I lean towards the "plain glass"!!
