Water is life.

Life is water,

raining from the sky,

flowing down the hill,

flooding the river,

swelling the bay,

joining the ocean.

The human body is 60% water.

First the lungs, then the muscles and kidneys,

Then the brain and heart, then the skin and bones.

Down we flow toward the ocean,

To evaporate and begin again.

Water is Life.

I agree with you dear poet, we are made up of water, and what a lovely thought it is that we can mingle with the ocean and feel wholesome anytime we feel the need . It is so essential to our well being I cannot conceive a life without it. Thank you for sharing your talent with me today, have a great day full of inspired thoughts :)

And I'm so glad for that evaporation cycle. Purifying water for us that we only know how to get dirty and fouled with poisonous chemicals.

A long time ago, I learned that our blood is very similar to seawater. It seems when we first came out of the sea onto the land, we brought with us a circulatory system of seawater that mimics the sea where we originally came from. I thought that to be really cool. Like your poem.
