I think that I'll
give Forgiveness a try,
I'll put down the anger
and what makes one cry,
I'll fold up my reasons
that really mean nothing
when held to Forgiveness
whose shine is like Sun,

the business of revenge and
hatred are cold
they just make my consciense
feel ugly and old
think it's time some makeup
pretties my heart fade-up
this thing called Forgiveness
is late, but on time,

the babies my daughters
used to be live in
my memory, they wander
without and within
more so, lately visions like this
bring up lessons
like Love and Forgiveness
and what they could bring

fortunately, I'll
give Forgiveness a try
while putting down anger
I'll try not to cry
'cause folding up reasons
that really mean nothing
when held to Forgiveness
will shine me like Sun....

fold up those reasons
that really mean nothing,
then hold to Forgiveness
to shine like the Sun...
