heart proclaiming
Did You Know ��. In the end� I�ll not remember, This pain that only leaves me� When you speak words of love, To my heart. Even your laughter is soothing. Next time we make love� In the flesh, You told me� You�ll kiss me� All over. My face�my neck, And ears�. to start� Before proceeding further. Did you know� You not only, Kiss my ears each day� But my heart and soul� As well� Each time you recite, Words of love and desire� Each time you speak, Of future plans� And visions of you�and me� Together. Did you know� Your morning blessings, For happiness throughout� My day� Gives me the strength, To continue dreaming� Of days together� You and me, For eternity. Did you know� Before you, I thought I knew happiness� Only to discover, How empty my life� Had been�before you. Did you know� I sometimes embarrass myself� When I�m all alone, But speak out loud� Sharing thoughts and feelings, As if you are here beside me. Did you know� I sometimes cry myself� To sleep, Because your side of bed� Is vacant. Which side is yours anyway ? Did you know� I�ve never loved, So deeply� Or trusted so completely� To admit anything like this� To a single soul before�you ? Erin Woods

A fine declaration of love, Erin. Thank you for sharing it. Someone once described love to me this way:

"Love has a different tune: I love you, therefore you are free to do as you wish. My love says you cannot do any wrong in my sight. My love says you cannot hurt me for it would not wish to make you responsible for the way I feel. My love says I am here for you if you want me, or I can be gone if that is what you wish. My love does not depend on your performance to exist - it depends entirely on a choice I make, moment by moment. My love accepts that you may even come to hate me for what I am and it is strong enough not to compromise itself to please you. My love cannot be manipulated. My capacity to love is infinite and is not bound by your feelings or desires."
