for poets sweet
Whose words lay silent
at my feet?

What need have I
of fancy knights
Who ride away
on horses white?

What need have I
of minstrels fair
Of drummers graced
with golden hair?

What need have I
for men who boast
That I am whom
they long for most?

What need have I
of lofty dreams
My visions are not
what they seem?

What need have I
of your restless kiss
Oh yes, those lips
I truly miss.

What need have I
to feel your touch
Indeed my skin
yearns for so much.

What need have I
to hear you speak
No doubt your voice
