For a Special young man who was in my life, before I met my husband Bob.
The photo was taken in 1982 on the beach, with the Florida ocean and sunset in the background.

Whispers of Love.

Whispers of love flowed into my ear,
as the one I loved, held me so near.
The closeness we shared,
is something that can never be compared.
He made me feel so young and alive,
even though he was much younger,
not even twenty five.
I was thirty eight when I met my love,
and I guess some people would say,
in loving him, what was I thinking of.
He gave me back my self-esteem,
and to this day, of him I still dream.
He made me feel so beautiful way back when.
I have never felt like that since then.
Ours was a special love,
that flew in and back out, like a beautiful dove.
We didn’t have much time together,
because God had plans for him that was better.
He called my young lover to come to be with him.
It sometimes feels our love was just a fanciful whim.
But when I think of him, I know it was real.
His beautiful laughter, I will forever hear.
Along with the memories, of whispers of love in my ear.

After thought----
I was just talking with my daughter this evening and told her I wrote a poem for Kurt today.
I realized as I told her about it, why I wrote it today. His birthday was 5/10 and his death aniversary date is now.
Spirit finds it easier to get our attention on dates that are special to them.
I am glad he was here today to let me know he is still sending me whispers of love.

I am touched Judith. I have met a
man that is about to be in a
similiar situation, hopefully not for
a few years to come. He is about ten years older than me
and a grandpa! I just want you to know I understand where
you are coming from on this one!

Beautiful poem!
Love ya! Thanks for all reviews lately!
