The painting of Love Birds was done by my daughter Victoria. It is one of her first abstract like pieces. She painted it on an old window, as she likes to do.
It is amazing that old junk can be turned into beautiful art. As the saying goes, " Some people's garbage is another persons treasure."
I thought the painting was so unique that it inspired me to write Love Birds to go with it.

I had a pair of lovebirds and they raised young ones. Your daughter's painting reminds me of something that I would do. Congratulations on surviving cancer twice. So have I and I live in Virginia too. I am about fifty miles west of Richmond.
