my expression of my reasons for needing patience

I kissed your picture today
traced your lips with my fingers
and stared into your beautiful eyes
only for a moment but it seemed like hours
I caressed your cheek
wishing it wasn't just your pic
I close my eyes remembering
your touch, your voice
even your warm breath
I can almost feel you again
in my bed holding me and then
I open my eyes just to realize
you're not in my bed only my head
if only my dreams were my reality
then I'd have you here with me
I miss you, I love you, I need you
but for now my dreams will have to do
I'll have to wait for your return to embrace you

The voice of the forlorn, yet life moves in one direction. Your bio quote is one to live by; to be sure.

You feelings are tangible in this poem. Probably even more so in life. This touches me deeply.
