Early light of an overcast morning dripping with post shower scurry stampeding on laminated floors caught between coffee and a rebellious sleeve puffing the ritual curse thru the habitual smoke screen misled by the locked door & spurred on by haste almost stepping on dog doo in a fumbling of car keys He finally made it to the curb sporting a faint smirk only to hear her words falling from the open window shattering a seemingly lost thought "It's Sunday you don't have to go to work".
