Standing tall, standing alone! My future to me virtually unknown. Strife and conflict are no more. Or me crying behind closed doors. Tranquil days are what I seek. My burdens being lifted as I speak. A new beginning I pursue. A new life without you. My past I no longer tread. Better days for me ahead. Standing tall, standing alone! My life to live all on my own.
