Heaven’s Eye
djbeaulieu
We are walking on thin air and all our cares are left behind
as we fly so very high with the love from each other’s wings.
We drift so high that even the mountains are floating by.
We dance in the glowing glitter of the midnight stars
that we leave afar.
I have landed in the gleam of heaven’s eye, but I never knew
it would be because of you and how lovely you are through and through.
I fly so high in your luxurious presence;
in the gentleness of your tasty lips and love’s pure essence;
in the soft gleaming glow of such powerful, blue eyes.
The passion of your kiss and the gentle smile in your eyes.
What glorious fun, for with you in my arms, I sigh.
It is like dancing among the stars, flying so high – so very high!
We dance atop the mountains and make our own mythopoeia.
Just floating in the air, floating in the moon lit sky
I find I fly so high with you that everything moves like a dream.
The rivers, the hills, the forest and the streams
all go by – its like floating in fantasia’s panacea.
