the poem that I wrote
it was in anger
flushed cheeks
and I was bewildered

yet I have put down the stick
and I don't want to poke
at the decaying buffalo
anymore

for the decaying buffalo
represented the argument

an argument I was never a part of
but was brought into

my name exploited

after we all agreed it was best
avoided



now I will be disappointed if
my name remains

an innocent bystander
exploited for the eye$ that
are not omnicient

but anyway

I'm
for
real

I don't like pointing fingers
and I'm sure we can all move on

pick up different colored balloons
sing a different song
