perhaps it's womanly or something

whatever the case is
I think I'm in a funk

sometimes I think too deeply
overanalyze
crush my hopes in situations
never standing back to see the whole picture

to pick each thing apart
and find reason or doubt
it isn't helping my demeanor
it isn't dazzling or wise

at first I thought if I thought harder
I could figure this funk out
find a psychological perception
and it becomes dramatic

can I not take things lightly
will my lips lock into a tight frown
forever

or can I look at the surface
never to dig underneath
to look for a problem
to look for something

to look for the answer to the nightmare
but it has passed
perhaps this funk will fade...
and I will just be happy to be awake

Interesting write and look in the mirror of ones soul to try and analyze those dark dreary feelings that seem to come on in a heartbeat unexplainable in a writers world...perhaps it is just our way of rethinking our muses desires...
