I'm thankful for my heavenly Father's great love,

for every good gift He sends from above.

Family and friends, God gave me the best!

Plus a little bit of 'attitude'... that He puts to test.

I'm thankful for every hard lesson I've learned.

I suppose a 'badge of endurance', I've earned.

Im learning to accept the things I cannot change,

trusting that God can see... in the long range...

I'm thankful for the ability to work hard and diligent.

At my age, I realize this body's just a tent.

It encompasses my soul that longs for more of God's grace,

knowing that in the end, I will see His radiant face.

"Yet I will rejoice in the LORD!  I will be joyful in the God of my salvation."  Habakkuk 3:18
