Love Storm


Love, like a summer storm
 swollen and ominous,
breathes over the land.

Cloudbursts erupt, spilling out
in torrents and the thirsty
Earth gulps desperate mouthfuls.


Love, like a summer storm,
passes and the drenched grass
shivers in the shifting wind.
