Laying on our backs,
on the bed of
your '69 Chevy
Stars falling
around us.
You,
the center of my
universe

Now the sky
darker than your
mocha brown eyes,
the last star
fallen.
And your truck
stays at home.
My driveway,
the sky,
my universe
all vacant.

this was written by my best friend/cousin (the one i wrote "Perfection" about) because she and her boyfriend had just broken up... she showed it to someone else, and he hated it... so i decided to put it up here to show her just how many people would actually like it... because i do... and i know that it isnt about cars... I LOVE BEKAH!!!... thanks for reading

I think it is marvelous! Maybe a line break after "fallen" would add more power to the last stanza, which is incredibley bittersweet with memories!! Keep on writing, bekah, keep shining your compassion and love, Sara!
