so i lied
what am i to do?
take back the words?
i can't
this rubber band around my wrist
this pig putty in my pocket
the poetry on my wall
all parts of the ones i love
but i can't
it's not allowed
not this one
she said it was ok
i don't think she knew
what she really said
i have to stop
can it be that hard?
am i just missing
the part of me that belongs?
probably, most likely
so i'm lying to myself
and i will continue to do so
because it's just not allowed
