Encouragement that is needed when feeling boxed in
Lord Do It Again
By Marion L. Jones
He’s my Protector
Sometimes you fall short of the Lords grace and mercy
When you call on Him and trust His Word, it’s like water when you’re thirsty
When the enemy is on your back and trying you make you sin
Holler out,
“Lord Do It Again”
He’s my Comforter
When you curse your brothers and sisters because they told you the truth about yourself
Your mad because you’re not happy with the cards you’re dealt
Made some bad choices in your life and you think there’s no way back to Him
Shout it out,
“Lord Do It Again”
He’s my All in All
I want to be right in your eyes and do what You want of me
Clean my heart and take the blinders off so I can see
Keep my mind focused and on You, from now until the end
I’m screaming at the top of my lungs,
This is such down-to-earth, where the rubber meets the road, living!
He does it again -- and again. The longer you walk with Him, the more you can recognize the sin in your life and want to be pure. " Lord, do it again" is so simple, but so powerful. He will never say no to this prayer from deep in the heart of one of His children.
This is my favorite of your poems.
