What you don't know can't hurt you
I now hear is a virtue
From those who'd like to topple
Such anchors as Ted Koppel
Who shows photos of the dead
Due to a war many dread.
These are the Radical Rich
And their censorship pitch
To silence critics like Moore
In this other free speech war.
For his movie they dislike
Which so frightened Disney's Mike
That he [as had CBS]
- Under politicized stress -
Pulled two shows at their request
And put us all to a test:
Have they silenced our voices
To know only THEIR choices?
Or do we stand up and fight
Against their 'Money makes right'?
So that fatigue-clad lackeys
With pix of nude Iraquis
Can speak if a cover-up
Came from someone higher up
Or will that man on a pill
Together with one named 'Bill'
Try to keep them quiet, too,
To appease a select few?
There is no absolution
In our dear constitution
For those who may try to keep
Censoring those bravest sheep
Since we will forever be
Known as The Land of The Free
And for that very reason
Those guilty of this treason
Must be seen for what they are
And thereby warned near and far
That those of this wealthy right
Will soon feel our voters might.
Personally, I like to roar--tends not to get me a job but settles my soul, none the less. Freedom has never been synonymous with comfort and silence, as you say so boldly here.
Deputy Dave Jenkins investigates the murder of local high school principal, Jerry Egge, but this is a multi-faceted novel that deals with spiritualism, romance, friendship, and children who fall through the cracks.
"Murder isn't usually this
Major League ballplayer Justin Moore is kidnapped from his own ballpark and transported to a foreign land. It might take high-level international negotiations to free him. Or maybe he will take matters into his own hands.
