I wrote this poem while going through treatments for breast cancer. Just some of the feelings you go through.

My human side, wonders;
Has the cancer spread
Can I possibly beat this thing...
Are the thoughts running through my head

I have faith in God above
That he will see me through
All will be, in Gods own time
And it's not for me to choose

I trust in him completely
I know he'll show the way
I only pray, Gods will be done
Give me grace for each new day

I only pray for guidance
To help me through the day
To have a smile for those I meet
Maybe help someone, along my way

As time passes and I grow weak
He will be there by my side
Giving me peace and courage
To leave it all behind

But oh the joy, when I awake
To be forever by his side
No more tears; no more pain
No more - human side...
