An Evil Man

There was once an evil man who had an evil smile.

He’s been causing huge catastrophes for quite awhile.

He never showed remorse at the awful things he did.

And he never once looked back since he was but a kid.

He had a handsome face to lure innocence astray.

It became quite easy to make things go array.

He’d reel in his prey by his handsome charm.

They never knew what hit them, there was no alarm.

Once he had you in his web, he destroyed your dreams.

One by one died in his hands and his wicked schemes.

Before you even knew it, the life you knew was gone.

You had nothing left in you, no music or no song.

But one day on his travels he met a different soul.

For she had rejected him, the rejection took its toll.

She seemed to see inside of him & new from the start.

That his soul was dark and this man had an evil heart.

Her rejections only stimulated his need & desire for her.

Every time he looked at her it made his evil heart stir.

He tried to charm this woman with all the tricks he had.

But none of them worked on her, she saw him as a cad.

What he didn’t know was she had an angel’s heart.

And she saw directly through him right from the start.

Her soul protected her from the evil that lurks within.

She could not be conquered for she was free of sin.

So nothing he could do would ever touch her soul.

For with the grace of God, this woman was made whole.

And God gave her many weapons to keep this evil away.

So she put on God’s armor & went where evil lay.

She called upon God’s army & they were in her stay.

He never knew what hit him on that awakening day.

All the evils he had ever done were finally revealed.

Facing all the horrors he could find no appeal.

Thus, he begged God for forgiveness as he knelt in prayer.

And that’s when God touched him while he was sitting there.

This man had much to repent and atone for what he’d done.

So he traveled back to the beginning to restore joy to everyone.

He knew they would not trust him so he had to wisely prepare.

He would do it in secret so no one would ever know he was there.

When at times you think there’s no forgiveness or no hope for you.

Think about this evil man, and you’ll know what God can do.
