Isn't love wonderful? And when it lasts a life time, its a miracle indeed.

Poem Artwork

My Husband, My Lover, My Life.

You are the one I have longed for,

Throughout my searches in life.

You are the one I had married,

My husband, my lover, your wife.

When life’s trials overwhelm me,

You arms are where I should be.

For they give me all of my comfort.

You’re the one who was made for me.

The years we have been together,

The stronger our love seems to grow.

For you soothe my anxious feelings.

The remedy you always just know.

You know when I need persuasion,

You know when I need your hand.

You always know what I’m feeling.

My husband, my lover, my man.

As we both travel this life together,

It’s our love that guides us somewhere.

A love stronger than we knew it could be.

And more beautiful, costly and rare.

Thank Heaven that I found you.

The one who took away my strife.

I could never survive without you,

You’re my husband, my lover, my life.

"love is the journey you make on your own, and if you don't take the chance, the angels won't dance", from the song, "Were All In Your Corner", written by Troy Seals/Buddy Emmons -- that line very poetically sums up marriage for me -- your poem of love is from the heart and very beautifully written Bonnie -- much peace and love to you my friend -- JMW

I have read many, many poems from you,but I have to say that this one is my all time favorite. He is a lucky man to have someone as special as you are.Your love for him is stronger than anything else in this world. The love that you 2 have can overcome any storms along the horizon with strength and grace.I really hope that one day I can find someone special that can love me for who I am unconditionally the way that you love your husband.I am sure when he read this poem,he had a big smile on his face.Tell your husband that he is a blessed man for he has someone precious, someone beautiful, and most importantly someone that he is proud to call his wife. After reading this poem,I know that he will treat you to something real nice for Valentine's Day which he should :-).Thank you for sharing this poem.I want to wish the 2 of you an early Happy Valentine's Day,take care

Love and Hugs
Edwin

A soulmate to love and care for;
