Out of Control
All around us everything seems to be falling apart.
It appears out of control and really hurting our hearts.
There seems to be nothing we can do to stop the downhill spin.
Just sit back and observe not knowing the situation we are in.
We thought the new election would some how stop the turn.
But it seems worse than ever by its continued downhill churn.
We put trust in our government to solve what’s going on.
But they have their own agenda, not interested in our own.
Can’t they see if we go down, they will shortly follow?
It may take longer but through their own deeds they’ll wallow.
How do you stop your Government from casting unsavory votes?
Unfairly charging the tax payer who they seem to always choke.
They’ve laid a burden on all of us that we never are able to repay.
And it will go to our children’s children for the rest of their days.
Someone’s got to stop them, some super hero of some kind.
So every one of us can be at peace and end these trying times.
If these are the wonderful Golden years I was looking forward to.
I am very disappointed and downhearted not sure what to do.
I prefer to put all my trust in God not man for I know all he can do.
So if you’re spinning completely out of control, you can do it too.

By comparison, the "good old days" were certainly better. How we'll all move on is anyone's guess. I wonder what our grandchildren will be experiencing when they're our age. Be strong! Liz
I lay my trust in the Lord, because without him I would not be here without that faith, if we put our faith in the world then we are bound to find out the hard way. exactly what that does! We took God out of the Social Aspects of our life, out of the economic aspects and look whats happened. The Lord provides though, and that is where I am putting my hope, this write was spot on.
