Strawberry Skies was written and dedicated to my husband.

The air is cold,
My breath can be seen
As it blows away
On the wings of the wind.

The day is dark,
My journey is long,
The search intense.
All direction seems lost.

I continue with my travels
Knowing not the duration.
An end there must be,
Perhaps the next hill.

I have grown weak,
I have grown weary.
So tired am I
Of this quest I am on.

When all strength has left
And caring has vanished
My body needs sleep
My soul needs its rest.

Out of the storm
He covers my vision.
The cold has left
The winds are calm.

He brings me back
From frozen depths.
He rekindles my spirit
I now have directiion.

With his quiet ways
I am again alive.
As I look around him
I see Strawberry Skies.
