A poem written for my very good friends.

You Inspire Me

I can't really say it is because of things

that you have done, although you consistently

act in many generous and kind ways.

I am inspired because of who you are

and who I became from knowing you.

You always find the highest part of me

and hold it to the light.

Your open heart greets everyone

with genuine respect and kindness.

Being in the world with an attitude of trust and

generosity leave us vulnerable. I am inspired

by your courage.

When others are quick to react in anger,

you are at peace and move with grace.

Our future requires that we all express love

and gratitude to people we meet and those

we have not. You have found your way to serve.

Please know that your spirit is bright and can

be seen by everyone who meets you.

It s kinda good. But it has the feel as if my boss/managers voice is talking to me in an impersonal level. Condescending to a point, due to lack of warmth, genuine warmth.

Great testimony to a friend that makes this world a better place to live in for having known them.
