Sometimes my beloved man-child, you amaze me With your conservatism and reluctance to change Turning the potential you have into utter mockery Sparing me the trouble to manipulate and arrange Matters to preserve this most marvelous illusion That keeps you trapped in your gloomy existence Of agony and fear, of inadequacy and confusion What’s really astounding is the lack of resistance Your voracious taste for things that don’t matter You make life so easy and it keeps getting better What annoys me are those prophets among you Who never cease to dispense their paranoid lies Speaking of things of which they have no clue Who want to remove the shells from your eyes Bombarding you with the mirages they present That are nothing but jumbled thoughts without Any sort of foundation and concrete argument And wild theories noone knows anything about It’s best to ignore them for they’re quite insane They haven’t a thing to lose and plenty to gain Let church, administration and science explain All things that may appear inexplicable to you Offering answers that make sense and remain A vital source when you’ve no idea what to do The media will tell you what you need to know They will spell out who is good and who is bad Who to follow and believe, who is friend or foe And who is trying to place lies into your head All has been arranged for you to benefit from Since the day we made you, till kingdom come Just leave it to us and everything will be okay Had we not been here things would be worse Than you ever could have imagined in any way We'll take care of you, and ward off the curse That conspiracy theorists continue to talk about In fact there’s no such thing, they tell dirty lies The stilted diseases and disasters will turn out To be nothing but a unjustified, unobvious vice Existing only in a twisted and misguided mind Containing alleged truths that you'll never find
