Everyone talks about what they want to do

Who knows what the future will hold?

God decides the path we walk upon

Everyone's got dreams, yeah

I know about a man who once said "I have a dream" and stood up in front of millions and expressed his dream

Shouldn't we all get a chance in this world to find our dream?

What do you say to trying?

What do you say to taking a chance?

What do you say to changing the world?

This could bring me the light of my life

Or it could bring extreme disappointment

Either way, at least I'm trying

At least I'm taking a chance

And at least I'm changing the world

I hope a little one will look up to me in years to come with their little eyes and simply ask me, "Mommy, what were you doing when you were a teenager?"

I will smile and reply back, "I was changing the world. And you can do just the same with a little hope"

Maybe this won't last for long

Maybe this will change the entire journey of my life

Maybe I'm taking this chance too early

Maybe I'm running when I should be taking baby steps

But what do you say to trying?

What do you say to changing the world?

This could make it or break it

But while I have a chance, I'm going to conquer it

I have passed up too many chances in my life

Hopefully God will listen

God, put that on my itinerary

And land the plane right here

I need to get off before it crashes

I don't know where this will end up

And I don't know when I'll write the last line

I hope that it will stay with me forever

But at least I'm trying

At least I'm taking that chance

And at least I'm changing the world for a moment in time

Everyone says sky diving is fun

And everyone says rollercoasters are the best rides

I don't get that, do you?

I'll jump and go upside down while the ink drips from my pen all I want

But this is my chance for maturity, not fun

My friends will be going out and getting wasted at parties

I will be mature and writing about what I'm observing

I don't know how many judgments I will take to heart

Or threats I will recieve

But what do you say to trying?

What do you say to taking a chance?

What do you say to changing the world?

For better or for worse

I will take this experience and all that it throws at me in stride

And stand up tall because I have that dream

That little bit of magic everyone searches for in their life

That little bit of dust forming from the ground

That little bit of cloud forming from above

So, go ahead, hate me if you wish

Praise me if you wish

Tear me down if you wish

But you will not end this dream

I tried

I took that chance

And I changed the world..
