What color should I then whisper?
against your comprehending ear
bent towards the aroma of stars
in the vacuum of a blue-black sky
You incubate dreams into realities
turning your laughter into a magic
that can only be really measured
by the rhythm of a genuine heart

Feel now how my pulse quickens
as two entities align fast in rhythm
This sweet chorus is borne of love
a warm smile is a lingering shadow
a moon suspended over the horizon
with the sweet gravity of sensual bliss
The earth pulls it closer to its bosom
keeping it near like a wandering child

I, too, covet your love as much as this
treasuring your essence as precious
tending to your love with affection
cultivating your garden of delights
My voice is a cello for your nights
and yours, a warm violin in my days
crafted of the same exotic wood
blended to play a sweet harmony

What color should I then whisper?
that would describe in intense detail
that perfection of your love for me
so that you would know my appreciation
I can trace the silhouette of your longing
as you seek with wide open eyes
the clear answer to why we are living
if our primal instinct is based upon love

I now anxiously await your attentions
in the same way that I await the spring
in the color of approaching evenings
when trees secretly weave their leaves
and I awaken to a sunrise of smiles
when the sun’s rays revive the blooms
when buds of trees suddenly explode
leaving their pastel snow upon the soil

What color should I then whisper?
so that I would convince you to stay
and share from the palette of my life
that is tethered to the core of my heart
the capacity that lies deep within me
to give in the same way it is returned
for the brushes of emotion are filled
as it paints our passion with love

The picture you paint and the color you whisper when you speak to your lady love must surely be a golden tone... A romantic poem to rival the very sun itself. Well done, Amor. Joy

As a reader I am left with no clear answer as to what color the poet should whisper. As it should be. I'm feeling delightful flittering of love and life in all the nuances and joys that it brings to nature. The impression is warm, sensual, musical and utterly delightful! For me, the cello whispers a varying array of the color spectrum, from mahogany to resin gold to wistful taupes that change their timbre with the sigh of the viola.

I love the concept of this, color of whispers. So many beautiful expressions throughout. Just one of my favorite thoughts:

"My voice is a cello for your nights
and yours, a warm violin in my days
crafted of the same exotic wood
blended to play a sweet harmony"

Breathtaking, truly. Pen on!

Sound, Scent and Light is a beautiful foray into your sensual mind heart and soul..a heart untamed in the wilderness of love. Amor your work naturally unfurls like the spring green of a budding fern stretching to the sun. The roots of your poems delve deeply into the truth to be found in patient understanding of human relationships ..LOVERS and the passion that permeates their Love. Your words are a melodic stream of conscious attention which gently and reverently unearths the magic to be found in your Soul...
Thankyou for gifting us with your glorious work..
I'm saving this piece as I have saved most of your work!!!

Beautiful Amor!!

"Window Of Life"

A window without a curtain
A view to see for certain
Ears that don’t want to listen
Needs to be kissed… and better more kissed
Lips that says too much…
Needs to be kissed instead of been crushed
Brushed with more kisses yep’a
So… Just Shut - Up - and listen
When Me Speak’a to You
For better more views
No excuse or abuse
Just never… never - never
Ever - never blow a fuse
Or make another excuse about those sexy ears
Because a window without a curtain
A view to see for certain
A window to a blissful life
One to die for
Or to strive for… he-he-he
Before better more…
Ear kiss wishes…or hmmm
Body of bliss kisses so delicious
I wish you a blissful day
OKAY!!
