How elegant the transparent gown you don
Stained and saturated only by life’s emotions
fragile cups of longing upon the narrow edge
Balanced precise between utopia and desire
The sleeves framing those delicate hands
Where slender wrists and dainty palms meet
With pen perched like a finch in those fingers
Translating what your heart and soul desires
I envision them slicing the air above the page
With the swiftness of Goddess Athena’s sword
And the blood spilled is an iridescent stream
Filled with gold gilding the essence of a kiss
The sleep-laden eye scans a once blank page
transformed into the sculpture of your loving
tracing your heart in the bright glint of the sun
and I, with amazement, float away on a dream
perpetuated by the grace of a cloud for a hem
the neckline plunges into the depths of want
with heaving mounds pronounced underneath
beckoning me into the sacredness of your fire
outlining me in the fair elegance of your smile
where you await me with another blank page
A beautiful poem that evokes the
subtlety and motions that go into
a work of writing. A writer puts
heart and alot of him/herself into
each written page. You seem to understand
this craft of writing well!
What could be such a simple scene is described creatively and beautifully through your vision and words. I like the line "...by the grace of a cloud for a hem..." A joy to read:) Sheila
You and Aberjani should pen a poem together. You both have the quality that just defies boredom....pulls people into another place and time, and very mystically romantic (hence your penname Amor I presume!)

Such imagery makes the reader see the vision you're intending to make us see...and you do. WOW. You have a magical way of writing. Love this one, the one line that got me was,
"...the neckline plunges into the depth of want..." WOW
Well done, Amor, never disappointed reading you.

Amor, I always marvel at your introspection and the way you see the world. It is a journey of the soul to read your work. You truly have a remarkable vision of life and people, and you ooze hope and charity. Sending many blessings your way for being you.
Dive into an enchanting adventure! This light-hearted romance will transport you to 17th-century Scotland, where a free-spirited 21st-century heroine brings love & laughter to a stressed-out laird's life - with a little help from the Fae!
