“Alabaster Clouds”
alabaster clouds lumber across a blue marbled sky
the heavy wind is a traveler in its fragrant disguise
relentlessly the turquoise sea sweeps amber sands
where swirls develop beyond the dunes and fjords
I am but a passenger boarding your ship of thoughts
in the slivers of your memory I wander the distance
you roam the deserted beach looking for fragments
a shattered moon answers as it traces the morning
in its heavenly embrace it kisses away all the stars
that have united in the congregation of intimate love
here in the edge of a liquid constellation amassed
in the simile of your smile I turn into powdered rain
sprinkled across your imagination I will touch you
while you wander in the dunes and fractured time
my eyes follow your every move as you pass by
and I flash like neon lightning in my ecstatic bliss
a hazy mist accrues over this passion of bodies
a modest layer surrounds us in the hidden coves
we inhale each other in the grasp of the planets
as they orbit in the gravity of a deep rooted love
alabaster clouds above traverse from west to east
we become the benefactors of what is left behind
we settle in the distance and synchronize thoughts
blending into a hollowed horizon to be rearranged
merged into one we explore beyond the propinquity
of two hearts and souls lost in the peripheral sky
love becomes an entity separate from ourselves
engrossing us in the splendor of warmth and joy
expressed within soft caress and passionate kiss
where we float away into our awaiting paradise

What strikes me the most about this piece, besides the flowing, wonderful romance, is your unique imagery. Just when I think the line is going in a certain direction, you change the visual, like "powered rain sprinkled across your imagination...". I especially like the first verse, because the creativity there set the mood. Well done:)
