the sun warms my face with abundant rays

as I wait patiently for her outside her door

and she rushes down the steps in her heels

as if angels wings were on her dainty feet

then a summer breeze stirs up the perfume

that brings sweet memories of her to me

the same sweet lullaby of a song we sing

at the very moment love unfolds its wings



she brings to me the magic of her presence

and we become entangled in our embrace

her in her elegant gown of luminescence

spinning around like stars within a galaxy

I take her by the hand as she has arrived

full of grace and such class that fits her

and we are both transformed to heaven

she is a poem in the minute that I see her

she is a wish in my heart that came true

complete with an audience of admirers

and an ocean of rose petals for her feet

the waves beat out a rhythm in my heart

and skies fill with the colors of our smiles

taking us on a journey of eternal romance
