Reaching for Hope in time of need
Rhythmic Beauty I was young, happy, and free—soaring beneath, In and above the clouds with my stalwart wings. Boldness, faith, hope, and peace gushed through my being As they vigorously ravished my enemies. Kindness, loyalty, honor transformed every stranger Warm, loving and cheerful was how they knew me. Until--- my course met with the brutal force of Time. My ship was jolted in its wild raging torrent. Its cold rigid swoops left me afraid and doubting Hope and trust became despair and uncertainty. Streams of peace and love flowed with strife and poison Memory was zapped by a slumbering void. Grasping faintly a small narrow ray of light Its full shining beams spread into the horizon. Feebly, reached for the radiant sparkling gems Offering deliverance, healing--Refilling My heart with trust, peace and love- I can make it! Cherish this moment! Oh! I'm not sure if you wrote this, or if the person whose name is at the bottom with a copyright symbol did. Either way, I like it. Time can hit with a bang sometimes, but we struggle on. I like "Grasping faintly a small narrow ray of light"
Well, I could go on, but I have a powerful cold & I need to stop with that.
