~ Droplets in Time ~

Tears set within our eyes that day
as emotion allowed them to fall away
~ they stream down our cheeks ~
knowing of our heartbeat's sway
hoping that it was ~ a 'never~day'

Tears upon faces for their darkened crime
as humanistic venturers hide covered ~ in vane
Each heart pauses in the instant ~ of time
for they shall reap their dues ~ for our pain

I hold my hand to wipe your tears
as each trickles to your lips
I embrace you in ~ fitful scorn
as Our Patriots sail their ships

Conquer ~ of the ugly faire ~ reprove
for tears abundant ~ are flowing full
Unafraid we enact our somber move
~~~~~ pausing ~ as faith provides our tool

~ We cling to GOD ~

as we hold
one another
in tears.
