Good night Jesus

My bed is calling 

and my eyes are closing fast

Before I dream and rest in your arms

my heart longs to express it's love

You gave me another day

Each moment a gift

Your wondrous creation

a symphony of praise

A smile from a loved one

A listening ear from an understanding friend

But most of all your presence and

forgiveness when I fall

Your warm embrace when

all seems lost

Even the flowers sing your joyous song

The trees and the birds join the aria

How can I  thank you for your countless gifts?

You smile at me and say

Your heart and soul

is all I ask

Yes, I ask much but will

give you much in return

Yes Jesus I give you my heart and soul
