Morning has come
The song of life begins
Opening our eyes to
a new day
of living our faith with
love and caring service to others
Today we open our hearts
to those who need compassionate
listening and eyes to see
their pain and loneliness
We offer hope by treating them
with awareness that they
are holy and sacred in God's eyes
We ask Jesus for strength and spiritual wisdom
so we can communicate in ways that
are helpful and promote peace and serenity
We thank you Jesus for another day
of learning how to live our faith
in your eternal love for you and
all your beloved children
