No one knew you were in such a bad space

Imagine my shock when I found out your own life you did take
The sun looks so angry through the trees
So many have prayed for you on hands and knees
I still wonder why you did it, almost every day
The pain inside will never go away
You erased your identity from this earth
And left indelible scars to the one who gave you birth
A temporary solution to escape your pain
Leave dead flowers at the cemetery in the pouring rain

I was drawn in by the title and stayed to the end.
This reminds me of how important it is to take time out for others, look beyond what you see and hear them say. Too often we brush each other off. We don't really hear.
