This is a poem about the pain felt after losing a love.

Kill me now as I sit alone
Dying from a endless pain
Hurting from the inside of out
With nothing to ease the strain

Kill me now as I sit alone
Wishing for sweet relief
Crying tears that can’t be shed
Feeling an abundance of pain and grief

Kill me now as I sit alone
Surrounded by a thousand faces
All trying to comfort my Hell-filled soul
With despair filling the empty spaces

Kill me now as I sit alone
With nothing more than my broken heart
With no answer to my deepest prayers
Now that we are apart

Kill me now as I sit alone
Facing a pain like none I've ever known
kill me now as I sit alone
And bury this pain along with my this tattered soul

If I was there right now,I would give you a hug. This is such an emotional and deep poem.Love comes and love goes. You have to stay strong and realize that you need to make yourself happy.Life is too short to feel this way.take care

The deep, profound sadness in your heart is so overwhelming and all is expressed well...

Aretha,

Very passionate and heartbreaking. It may be a cliche, but only time can heal a broken heart. You may feel despair and agony now, but life and love will grow again. Beautifully written and expressive.
