Where Angels Dare
Glide with me on the wings of a Dark Knight
Down into the eternal abyss of mans slumbering light.
Where nightmares come to life
Torturing man with eternal strife,
Denying who they are truly sent from
Hide your eyes my child from the bloodletting to come
As darkness surrounds you, cry out I pray!
Or in this in this place of hopelessness forever you will stay
Oh listen and be still my quivering heart
While the wind carries the whispers of my prayers
The demons do depart
They design an excellent plan to bring me to my demise
I fear my souls light will go dark before the suns next rise.
Their flutters and whispers surround me all night
Oh Please I beg you send me a guardian of light
I hold my breath as I whisper this prayer
And gaze hopefully into the darkness out there.
The great unknown…
