with conduct woes. It gives false claim to fame.
The laughs turn pale and fade like wilted grass
as stories murk of loved ones past mistakes
like swirls of smoke beset a crowded room.
The fun now slows as talk hits home when crass,
loose, lips zigzag like kites in wind. Earth quakes
when wayward tongue corrupts and spreads foul gloom.
