What is God?
We all are, for it’s said in his image we were made,
What is life?
Life is the time we spend between our birth until the grave,
What is hope?
It’s just a short a respite from the heartaches of the norm,
A momentary happiness before the next disaster dawns,
What is love?
A chemical reaction to let our species grow,
What is the point?
What is the point?
In truth, I do not know.
A bit depressing, even for me. Love is more than a mere chemical reaction. It involves our thoughts and feelings. The point is to enjoy what time we have on earth and not focus on the bad times and pray the happy times outweigh the sad.
Some age-old questions that probably shouldn't take so much of our time. I did sense a little pessimism here because it seemed that some things that were thought to be ironclad were being questioned and that life was mostly, "heartaches of the norm." "A momentary happiness…"
Maybe so. But as I look back on my life and the lives of my relatives, we lived rather happy and untroubled lives.
