I like this, because it touches on the oppression that teenagers feel to be "normal", whatever that means. The heroes here, the role models if you will, are open and free...the notion of shame disappears as you go through Amber's writing. I think I would have liked to read this as a teenager, it would have helped me!

Interesting coming of age story...it is especially of value to me that Krista is the same age as my protagonist Christine, in "Travels Through Love and Time" part 1 "Nostromo". Though it takes place in a different country with different approaches to sex (Europeans somehow always seem more liberated), the age Amber describes and the feelings are the same. Thank you Amber!
