Now, wasn't that sweet? (A little bit of sarcasm). Somehow you have brought together many kinds of beliefs and theories into one story of what Albert Camu would call "absurd." How much we are controlled by these images, I don't know, but many many people are to the point of being stooges to the powerful.
A few areas need further explanation (I won't elaborate) and editing could make the story much more readable and accurate, at least as far as your intent is.

Interesting article. The Tibetan people have been under the thumb of the Dalai Lama for too long. Like the Catholic Church and Pope Francis, times are changing, rapidly, and if these obscure religious beliefs are to continue, they will have to change.

That is a very powerful piece with a powerful message about the power of women in our world. I would only caution you about "breathing the garden spray "these days because it's likely to be Roundup or worse and the old girl could end up with some kind of festering disease or genetic defect to pass down to future generations thanks to good old technological progress and corporate greed.
