Everybody should read this. It is a particularly brutal tale which sadly, is all too true. Despite the horrific loss of life it could have been worse...or could it?

Your story wasn't pretty - neither was the fate of the native Americans meted out by the white man: disease, decimation of buffalo, driving them to settle on worthless land. The realistic stretch of details and character development bring history to life.

That was quite a story that rings so true to history. I really enjoyed your description of the nuance that surrounds the place with all its mystery and magistry.
At times the font got a bit too small for reading.
My uncle divorced his Polish wife leaving his three kids nearly orphans during World War II. He then married a Blackfoot woman and they had seven children. The only one I remember, George, the oldest, had two thumbs and had to have one of them removed. My uncle became a Chicago cab driver and died living alone in Phoenix, rather young, from emphysema and the effects of a lifetime of alcoholism.
There's a story there, but I don't know it.
