Message for This Entire Human Race (Book) - 2/15/2013 5:59:56 PM
I bought this book after reading some of the authors blog posts on his many sites, [...]. The book is filled with truth that so many people don't know and don't want to know. Our "me generation" culture could really benefit from reading this. Whether you are a christian or atheist, you will benefit from this book.
Walking away from reading this book, I realized what is really important in this life which is helping others, especially the less fortunate. It made me think ALOT about what's going on in our world. So many people today are continually searching for happiness, and a "feel good always" way of life. While so many in the world are suffering, and very few care. The happiest people are givers, and if more of our society focused on giving, and loving, our lives would be so different.
I'm glad I read Jeff's book, although sometimes a hard pill to swallow, it is all truth and I"m a better person for it.
I just have to add a side note that I got from reading this book. When judgement day comes, and it will, many will realize that hell is truth known too late. Thousands of professing Christians in this day will find this out by experience. They will discover the value of their soul when it is too late to obtain mercy. Prov. 24-31 says it all. This book has a very important message for everyone, and if you I can promise you that regret will follow if you don't take the message to heart while there's still time.

Very well written, and a lot to think about for sure Jeff. Thanks for you writings, I enjoy all of them. I see the fact that humans are not living better each century, but much much worse. Our society is morally retarded to say the least, and I feel a huge change is coming and many people will not be prepared.

While you repeatedly refer to God's word in this repetitious piece of dogma, there's no evidence that any word in the Bible was the word of God––only of people who believe that they had heard or met God in some fashion––mostly in dreams or visions.
While modern science (not religion) is rapidly finding out the many perils the human population faces from the earth, outer space, and our own human activity, the idea that any of these is foretold by God is ridiculous. A thorough review of human history shows that many such predictions were made in the past when times were much worse from Genghis Khan, to the Black Plague, the Inquisitions, and the annihilation of Native Americans by European diseases.
The fact is that humans have been living better each century since the Bible was written, in spite of setbacks like World War II that consumed sixty million lives worldwide. The biggest threat to human kind right now is our success. The consumption of seven billion people on the earth is putting a strain on the natural world.
In spite of the pressures of all the possible threats (most of which are not mentioned in the Bible), we are very adaptive and resourceful and will prevail over much that will come to us, especially if we can get over all of our petty nationalistic and religious ignorance that leads to countless wars and unsubstantiated hatred.
Spouting Bible verses has never accomplished anything except line the purses of the spouters.

What Greatly Saddens Me Beyond Words (Short Story) - 12/15/2012 3:38:59 AM
Your massive write..was well interesting and complex but valid.
I've spent the last four years writing-perfecting-and editing a Children's story to make them smile,laugh,and give out a feel good factor. And all the while..lurks those dark forces, planning misery, tragedy, and horror. As a Father and Human,I felt sick when I heard this awful news. I could write about it for ages. But what else would I say?
