I find rich imagery in encounters like this that enable me to write about it in great detail. Perhaps, as you said in the last line, because it was so frightening, you are at a loss for words.

If only there were more poets that allowed, as you have here, the inner labor that words go through, piled upon one another in our lexicon and thesaurical island, grasping and lunging forward in pursuit of that tide that will carry the right cargo of escape toward destinations unknown. That adventure, you've captured here. Once again your prowess and visionary insistence upon the keyboard pays off.

The message is one that even after reviewing it once on TNBW, provides still further prompting to examine the value of doubting and the stimulation such inquiry provokes in our often times lazy sentient ability see and understand ideas in multiple ways, each with its own place in our time frame. I love that last line for its unbridled truth. Among the true believers, doubt is now so rampant that a conspiracy theory emerges every day.

doubting seems a religion of its own anymore. How easy it is to be a faithless naysayer in this darkening world. The verse: "without faith it's impossible to please God", certainly puts the process in a sobering perspective. Your write struck a chord with me. Thanks for sharing ...
