I think this little story has meaning for the schism in our country over what is important--making money or making sure that everyone is working at what they like.
Liberalism versus pragmatism at the Christmas table. We need both and we need both to cooperate with each other.

You have quite an imagination. Bringing to bear a number of 21st century problems into your fanciful 31st century with some rather odd ball throwbacks like werewolves and wizards. The drama is certainly there. Whether there are lessons like some of the great satires of the past, I don't know. I will wait for the critics' reviews of the whole book before reading onward. As it stands, you are taking on a monumental task and I commend you for that.

You certainly did interject a philosophical discussion of spirituality while three people were defiling a grave in search of some mysterious scroll that it would be doubtful would be buried with any one defined as a "pauper."
Perhaps it was the difficulty reading the dense presentation that I didn't pay much attention to the long discussion between atheistic and Christian viewpoints. I was most concerned with the seemingly lack of regard for the grandmother and the nonchalant way that the trio went on their quest. Perhaps I would have read more to find that out. You didn't mention anything about light. It would be difficult to see anything without some kind of light unless there was a rather full moon.
Unfortunately, everyone that's using Microsoft Word to paste into the AD editor seems to be faced with this problem of the format being messed up. I suggest that you save your document in another format besides .docx. Save your document text (.txt) or Rich text format (.rtf) before copying and pasting into the editor. I also, in my browser, do not just paste the document, but use a special paste provided, Paste and Match Style.
You can also edit afterwards, but that is tedious. The way it is now, reading is very tedious and hard on the eyes.
Well written and you seem to have some interesting characters.

I can see some idealism future predictions in these quotes. Some of which I believe may occur in the 21st century. I would much prefer a chapter or chapters of the book to these randomly selected quotes. As it is, they are quite disconnected.
Please go back to the editor and delete the repeated copies of the quotes. More will read them.
