A wonderful story of a loving relationship with Al. I recently read in National Geographic that beagles have quite often been number one dog according to the American Kennel Club. They certainly are friendly and have all the right stuff for a pet, except for their tendency to do what they were bred for--hunt with their nose and bugle their presence.
Beagles eat bread (I don't know why dogs do--they're carnivores) and they are bred by either breeders or dog owners. ;-) I figured out that those little als and disconnected text were captions to pictures that you couldn't insert. If you contact the management of AD, they may be able to help you with that.

A quite clear description of PTSD. And so many have it. We have to find a way to stop sending young people into the bloody gore of war. If this is personal, I hope that you find peace with time. If not, it's a damn good write.

Love this poem of anger, and "night war demons," so much so, because I relate in so many ways. Nighttime is for sleeping . . . Except when you can't, then I find myself climbing out of bed and uncorking the cheap California burgundy.
Hah! Ya got me clicking on "Crumbs in My Cleavage" for naught, for naught I say.
